Instructional Strategies           If used effectively instructional strategies help students become independent, strategic thinkers. The strategies vary by teacher, subject, and student but the basic concept is to open up a students mind in a new and creative way. Students learn best when instruction is appropriately challenging, based on real-world scenarios, purposeful, meaningful, and interesting (J., n.d.). At the same time the activities should be engaging and give the appearance of being simple so as not to intimidate the students.            The instructional strategies I have chosen are ones I believe will motivate and engage my students the most. There are a lot of strategies out there but I felt like these fit best with my field of study. Learning a second language is best done by practicing in an engaging and social manner. Locate and modify a MS Word template            The template I chose to modify is called "Teacher's Syllabus." The reason this template stood out to me is because as an emerging teacher I am still learning how to create a successful syllabus. I will be honest right now and say that I do not have Word on my computer as I normally use Google Docs for my documents, both personal and professional.
